  16. WINDOWS(R) CD-ROM*
  17. Windows 95 required
  18. 90MHz Pentium(R) or faster
  19. 16MB RAM
  20. Minimum 8MB hard disk space
  21. 4X CD-ROM drive or faster
  22. 640x480 display, High Color
  23. Sound Blaster 16 or 100% Sound Blaster 16-bit compatible sound card
  24. Video and Sound cards compatible with DirectX**

  26. If you experience problems with your video or sound card, please
  27. ensure that the newest available drivers for those devices are
  28. installed properly on your machine.

  30. *System Configuration:  May require minor adjustments to the
  31. configuration of your operating system and/or updates to the
  32. hardware component drivers.

  34. **If you experience problems with the installation or compatibility
  35. of DirectX on your computer, please consult the hardware manufacturer

  41. To Install
  42. 1 Begin at the Windows 95 desktop.  
  43.  
  44. 2 Insert the CD-ROM disc into your CD-ROM drive.  
  45.  
  46. 3 The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo Startup window will 
  47.    appear.  
  48.  
  49. 4 Click the Install button and follow the on-screen instructions to 
  50.    install the program.  
  51.  
  52. If the Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo Startup window does 
  53. not appear automatically on screen, you can install the program 
  54. manually:  
  55. 1 Click the Start button on the taskbar and choose Run.  
  56.  
  57. 2 Type D:\SETUP.EXE in the line labeled Open.  (If your CD-ROM drive
  58.    uses a letter other than D, substitute that letter for D.)  
  59.  
  60. 3 Click the OK button and follow the on-screen instructions to 
  61.   install the Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo.
  62.  
  63. After successfully installing the program, click the Run button at 
  64. the Startup window to start the program.  The Startup window will 
  65. usually appear each time the CD-ROM disc is inserted into the CD-ROM
  66. drive.

  68. If the Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo Startup window does
  69. not appear automatically on screen:
  70. 1 Begin at the Windows 95 desktop.  
  71.  
  72. 2 Click the Start button, point to Programs, and then Journeyman 
  73.    Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo folder.

  75. 3 Click The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo menu item 
  76.    to start the program.

  78. About the AutoPlay Dialog
  79. The Startup window will appear each time the CD-ROM disc is 
  80. inserted into the CD-ROM drive. If you prefer The Journeyman 
  81. Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo to launch without seeing this 
  82. screen, click the check box at the bottom of the Startup window 
  83. marked "Show this window next time you insert the CD" so that the
  84. check mark is removed.  The next time the CD is inserted into 
  85. the CD-ROM drive, the program will automatically launch.

  87. To reactivate the Startup window, insert The Journeyman Project 3: 
  88. Legacy of Time Demo CD-ROM disc into your CD-ROM drive.  When the 
  89. program begins, immediately press Alt+F4 to quit.  Double-click the 
  90. My Computer icon on the Windows 95 desktop.  Click The Journeyman 
  91. Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo CD icon once with the right mouse 
  92. button and select AutoPlay Dialog.  Click the check box at the 
  93. bottom of the Startup window marked "Show this window next time you 
  94. insert the CD" so a check mark is placed there. Click Run to start
  95. the program.

  98. If you need to remove The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo, 
  99. begin at the Windows 95 desktop. Click the Start button, point to 
  100. Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click the Add/Remove
  101. Programs icon.

  103. Click the Install/Uninstall tab and select Journeyman Project 3: 
  104. Legacy of Time Demo from the list of programs. Click the Add/Remove
  105. button and then click the Yes button to remove the program. Then 
  106. click OK to clear the screen.

  111. Go back in time to the legendary and beautiful world of Atlantis. 
  112. Using new 3D scrolling technology, you are Gage Blackwood, Agent 5 
  113. of the Temporal Security Agency. Your mission is to make a gold 
  114. medallion that may save the entire universe from destruction.

  122. Information for Running Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Demo

  124. Microsoft's DirectX version 5.0 is required to run the Windows 
  125. version of this demo.

  127. If you have installed the required versions of QuickTime and DirectX,
  128. and still have problems running the demo, make sure that the most 
  129. current audio and video drivers available for your hardware are 
  130. installed on your system.

  132. Your monitor must support 640x480 screen resolution.
